The Year 1714: Celebrations of the Hanoverian Succession
The 2014 Lufthansa Festival is not the only celebration of the 300th anniversary of the Hanoverian succession to the British throne. A number of other cultural events are taking place over the next year, both in London and in Germany, to mark the occasion.
Events include exhibitions at the British Library, Foundling Museum (you can enjoy this as one of our 2014 Festival Tours), V&A, the Queen's Gallery and Landesmuseum Hanover, a lecture at the British-German Association and a Royal Heritage tourist route in Germany.
