In the first part of a unique Double Bill, Pavlo Beznosiuk and Friends present The Seasons, a set of elegant fantasia-suites by one of the most respected English composers of the 17th century, Christopher Simpson, 'precious among good and knowing Men for his exemplary life and excellent skill'. The concert also includes a 'Cuccu' scherzo by Johann Jakob Walther.
