The 2008 Lufthansa Festival of Baroque Music
has come to an end.
Connecting people is our prime task, and one to which we devote ourselves with great joy and enthusiasm. Every day, with our partners in the Star Alliance, we provide links to 841 destinations and 157 countries of the world.
The artists involved in the Lufthansa Festival of Baroque Music, which has taken place every year since 1985, also bring people together in a very special way. But what they bring home to us above all is that the sky we fly is not the limit. Their art touches the heavens and inspires us, filling us with delight and admiration. For that we are immensely grateful.
Our thanks go in equal measure to our wonderful, well-informed audience. Whether in St. John's, Smith's Square or in Westminster Abbey: this year, too, their expertise, concentration and involvement set the tone for the festival.
